00:00:29.489 --> 00:01:24.799
Happy Friday, everyone. Stephanie here. And I hope that this series of the Breaking in you before the Breakthrough blessed you. And I just pray that you'll be able to pass it on to other people that may need this revelation and that it will lead you to your breakthrough. So today I want to dive into a topic that is just gonna encourage you and motivate you. And it's simply being where your feet are. You know, in our life, like I said yesterday, we have a lot of dreams placed in us. We have a lot of visions. But maturity happens when you finally make this decision of what dreams were meant for you and which ones were not, what circles were meant for you and which circles were not, which opportunities were meant for you and which opportunities are not. Making sure you know that is a massive jump of maturity.

00:01:25.280 --> 00:02:13.810
And you want to make that decision. You need to clarify and you need to decide this week where you belong and where you do not belong. You know, I love to surf and something about surfing is you want to keep paddling to get every single wave because you want to just keep surfing, surfing, surfing. But you don't realize that paddling that strenuously to catch every single wave is going to exhaust you. And it's actually dangerous because you don't want to be exhausted with big waves all around you, deep in the water. You have to stay exactly where you are to catch the waves that are coming to you. That is the same thing that rings to be true in life. We don't have to go chasing every opportunity. We don't have to go chasing every single wave.

00:02:14.610 --> 00:02:17.889
The door is open to you in some aspect.

00:02:18.289 --> 00:02:36.849
Maybe you're on a team at church that needs your full effort on it. You're married. Your family needs you, your spouse needs you, your children needs you. Your home needs you. Maybe you're a leader in a corporate space. Your teammates need you, the people under you need you.

00:02:37.009 --> 00:02:47.870
And if we get too busy trying to chase things that are not for us, that's a distraction from what we are meant for. So this is my encouragement to you.

00:02:48.189 --> 00:02:59.949
You belong in this exact spot for this exact season. If God is closing the doors in the other areas, see that as a protection. Rejection is protection.

00:03:00.189 --> 00:03:49.280
It is not for you. What's for you is the gifts God has placed in you are the talents God has placed in you. That is the wave you should be surfing. The friends that are in your life right now, those are the people that God has placed you with. And if you're trying to strive to be in another group, let that go. They're not for you. If you're trying to chase somebody you really liked, but they're not liking you back, let that go. It's not for you. If you're trying to chase a job that just doesn't come your way, let it go. The timing isn't right. It's not for you right now. You belong here at this moment, for this season. And the truth is, in John 11. Four, it's the story of Jesus, when Martha goes to him and tells him that her brother is dying.

00:03:49.599 --> 00:03:52.879
And Jesus says, I'll go and I'll visit him in a minute.

00:03:53.360 --> 00:04:00.479
And when he heard this, Jesus said, this sickness will not end in death. No, it is for God's glory, so that God's son may be glorified through it.

00:04:00.949 --> 00:04:14.710
Well, Jesus takes his time getting to Lazarus. And Lazarus unfortunately passes away. And the first thing out of Martha's mouth is, if you were here sooner, then maybe his life would have been saved. But that wasn't Jesus intention.

00:04:15.349 --> 00:04:22.230
Jesus knew that there was a time for him to be there. And he knew that he needed to wait for that time so that

00:04:22.470 --> 00:04:37.529
4.6 shows us that God is holding you from a certain breakthrough, from a certain atmosphere, from a certain opportunity so that he will be glorified through it all. So be encouraged today.

00:04:38.009 --> 00:05:22.649
God has you exactly where you are meant to be. Have confidence in that. This weekend, let's pray. Jesus, we thank you for the opportunities you have given us. We thank you for the doors you have opened because that means you have a purpose for a us, for this season, for this opportunity. You are using us for a reason. And God, we decide to give you our everything. If it's not for us, then we leave it to you. And we trust that that rejection is our protection. That hard left turn was because it wasn't for us. So we trust you. We surrender our entire life to you. And we know that you, you are the decider of our steps and our paths, not us.

00:05:22.810 --> 00:05:52.269
And allow our lives be here to glorify you and only you. And in Jesus name we pray. Amen and Amen. So there you have it. Your 5 minute daily dose of heaven. Thank you so much for tuning in today.
