How can you tell if the wisdom you’re receiving is truly from God?
In today’s episode, Lauren Alessi Burgos closes out James 3 with verses 17–18 and a powerful description of wisdom from above. Godly wisdom is pure, peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial, and sincere. These qualities give us a guide for discerning the voices and advice we allow to influence our lives.
We’ll be challenged to examine the fruit of the wisdom we receive and the wisdom we share. Does it produce peace or conflict? Does it align with God’s Word? Does it lead us toward mercy, sincerity, and righteousness?
Let’s join in prayer and devotion as a community, asking God to fill us with wisdom from above and help us become peacemakers who bring His peace into our conversations, relationships, and communities.
