Freedom is one of God's greatest gifts—but it's also one of our greatest responsibilities.
In today’s episode of the My Morning Devotional Podcast, Richelle Alessi reflects on 1 Peter 2:16 and reminds us that true freedom was never meant to be used for selfish gain.
“Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil.”
Because every freedom we enjoy came at a cost.
Christ gave His life so we could be spiritually free, and that freedom calls us to live differently.
This devotional challenges us to see freedom not as permission to do whatever we want, but as a gift to steward with wisdom, gratitude, and purpose.
Whether we're talking about our faith, our choices, or the opportunities God has given us, freedom is meant to point people back to Him.
Today, ask yourself:
How am I using the freedom God has given me?
May we never take His sacrifice for granted, but instead use our freedom to honor God, serve others, and reflect His goodness in everything we do.
Tune in and let's embrace the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives!
