In today’s episode of the My Morning Devotional Podcast, Gaby Alessi Calatayud reflects on Acts 26 and the boldness Paul carried even while standing trial before King Agrippa.
Instead of defending himself out of fear or frustration, Paul used the moment to share his testimony and point people back to Jesus.
Even in chains, Paul understood something powerful:
his circumstances did not limit his purpose.
While others saw a prisoner, Paul saw an opportunity to witness.
One of the most striking moments in this chapter comes when Paul tells King Agrippa that he wishes everyone listening could experience the same freedom he had found in Christ “except for these chains.”
What a perspective.
Paul may have been physically imprisoned, but spiritually he was completely free.
This episode reminds us that every conversation, every relationship, and every environment can become an opportunity to reflect Jesus.
You do not need the perfect setting to share your faith.
You do not need a stage, a microphone, or all the right words.
Sometimes ministry looks like:
encouraging a friend over coffee
sharing your testimony during a difficult season
praying for someone at work
reminding others what God has brought you through
Your story carries power because God has been present in it.
This devotional encourages listeners to stop overlooking the spaces God has already placed them in and begin seeing everyday life as a mission field.
Wherever you are right now, God can still use your life to point someone back to Him.
