Instead of dismissing the past, we can learn from it.
Instead of forgetting sacrifice, we can remember it.
Instead of assuming we know better, we can choose humility.
God often works through imperfect people to accomplish His perfect purposes.
May we become a generation that values history, honors sacrifice, and gives thanks for those who faithfully paved the way before us.
Because a heart that honors others is a heart that reflects Christ.
