After receiving a vision during the night, Paul immediately understood that God was calling him to Macedonia. There was no hesitation, no overanalyzing, and no endless questioning. Paul simply got up and followed where God was leading.
And because of that obedience, lives were changed.
This devotional beautifully highlights what happened after Paul, Timothy, and Silas chose to follow God’s direction:
Lydia encountered the Gospel and was baptized
A woman oppressed by an evil spirit was set free
A miracle took place in prison as chains fell off while they worshipped
One act of obedience opened the door for multiple miracles.
A powerful reminder throughout this message is this:
God often reveals purpose through obedience, not before it.
Sometimes we want every detail, every guarantee, and every answer before taking a step forward. But Acts 16 reminds us that many of God’s greatest moments happen after we choose to trust Him enough to move.
