Courage doesn’t always mean feeling fearless. Sometimes courage is choosing to trust where God is leading, even when your emotions are telling you something different.
In this episode of the My Morning Devotional Podcast, Gaby Alessi Calatayud shares an encouraging message from Joshua 1:9 about navigating seasons of change, uncertainty, and transition. As Joshua prepared to lead God’s people into the Promised Land, God commanded him to be strong and courageous, not because Joshua had complete confidence, but because God promised to be with him wherever he went.
Gaby reminds us that our feelings may not always align with what God is asking us to do. A new season can bring fear, discouragement, anxiety, or questions about what comes next. But we don’t have to let those emotions determine our direction. We can choose courage because God’s presence goes with us.
