The Resurrection

The Resurrection

What does living in daily victory really look like? In today's episode, Richelle Alessi invites us to reflect on the incredible gift of the resurrection and how it impacts our lives every single day. Together, we'll explore what it means to walk as conquerors through Christ, not just in moments of struggle, but in every aspect of our journey. You're listening to my morning Devotional podcast, episode 1398. Today's Devo is called the Resurrection. Hey there. We're the Alessi's a ministry family working together in our church in Miami, Florida. And if you're like us, when days get busy and to do lists get longer, it can be hard to find devotional time.

00:00:20.719 --> 00:00:31.329
That's why we've partnered with our friend Allison to produce a five minute daily dose of heaven. This is the My Morning Devotional Podcast. Good morning everybody and happy Wednesday.

00:00:31.410 --> 00:01:25.069
Welcome to my morning Devotional podcast. My name is Rachelle Alessi and we are in the theme of grateful for what God has done. And I love this theme because it's making me reflect and go back and see really all the amazing things that the Lord has done for us. And I know there's many things the Lord has done for me personally and that he does for me personally on the everyday basis, but how about the overall things that the Lord has done for the whole earth to be here today and for us to, to live our lives together. And so I, I love this theme and you have heard me the past couple of days share with you a couple things that I'm grateful for and then I'm asking you to share also what some things you're grateful for. Just so we keep the theme of thankfulness and gratefulness going this month and today, I am very, very grateful for my church family.

00:01:26.849 --> 00:01:38.370
I have an amazing immediate family, but God has gifted me with a beautiful church family that I would not be who I am without them. And I love them.

00:01:38.370 --> 00:02:06.879
They are here for us all the time. And I love that my son and my baby to come will get to experience so much love and family because of the extended church family that the Lord has given us and what a gift the church is. And so I am grateful for all of you Metro life church, I love you. And let's get into his devos today. And today we're going to be reading from First Corinthians

00:02:07.120 --> 00:02:28.879
57 and it says, but thanks be to God, he gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. And this was Paul like speaking and really showing gratitude perfectly. Because the resurrection isn't really just an event, but it's our daily victory.

00:02:29.599 --> 00:03:15.770
And it says thanks be to God, for he gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. And he has given us the victory because of what he did. We know that the Lord died on the cross and rose. And because of that, because of the resurrection. And not only do we get to Say that our sins are forgiven, but we have victory over sin and over death because of the Lord and as his children, that lives in us. And how amazing is that? The Lord has given us that gift, not just our sins forgiven and now of our lives being redeemed, but now that we get to walk in victory.

00:03:16.650 --> 00:03:47.810
And I love this because we as Christians sometimes still think this on our everyday life when we're going through life and we're going through a really, really hard moment because we're so caught up in what we're feeling and what we're going through. And we're praying to God to help us get through just through the hour, just through the day. And that is real, and God wants you to do that. Don't stop praying to God to help you get through the hour, get through the day or the difficult time.

00:03:48.210 --> 00:03:58.610
But don't forget that the Lord has victory over death, which means he is the overall authority of everything.

00:03:59.250 --> 00:05:56.529
Nobody's ever, ever been able to beat death like Jesus did. And because of that, that makes him the ultimate victor and victory for us as Christians because of what the Lord did. And so today, pray, and yes, ask the Lord to help you get through, but remind your spirit of who you serve, whose daughter or son you are. And that is the daughter and the son of a victorious God who has won and has victory over, over death and over sin, which means whatever you are going through physically, mentally, or just circumstantially, none of that gets to dictate your life because of who you serve. Remind your soul of who you serve and that the same power that Jesus used many years ago for that resurrection and that victory lives in you. And you have access through that, through Jesus Christ. It's not you, but it's through Jesus Christ, and God gives us that. And so remind yourself of that today. And not just pray for getting through, but ask the Lord that through his victory and his power, that he'll help you be wise, that he'll help you get through, but in a victorious way. And you'll see how your, even your spirit starts to lift up and how you can be a victor because of what Jesus did. And so today we are very grateful for the work of the cross and the resurrection, but because of that, we get to have that access through Jesus in our lives. So let's pray. Father God, we just want to thank you for the resurrection. We want to thank you for your victory. That we get through, live through today, that we get to have access to today. We get to be in heavenly places and experience your goodness because of what you did.

00:05:57.250 --> 00:06:36.939
This shows us, Father, that you are a good, good Father and that we do not deserve this amount of goodness, but you give it to us anyway. And so we truly humble ourselves and recognize who the true victor is. And that is you. And that if we serve you with all the heart and all our minds and all our soul, Father, you are here for us and that you will help us, Father, accomplish and conquer everything that we're going through because you did the ultimate conquering. And if we are your children, we are more than conquerors through Jesus Christ. So we bless you Lord.

00:06:37.019 --> 00:06:40.269
This morning, in Jesus name we pray. Amen.

00:06:40.910 --> 00:07:01.870
