Stay Steady

Stay Steady

How do we stay steady when the holiday season feels overwhelming? In today’s episode, Richelle Alessi leads us through practical wisdom for finishing the year strong, drawing inspiration from Galatians 6:9. As a community, we’ll reflect on how to avoid growing weary in doing good, embrace gratitude for the year behind us, and hold onto hope for the harvest that awaits. Together, we’ll learn why the way we close out the year matters just as much as how we begin a new one.

Join us for this uplifting devotional as we unite in prayer, asking God for strength and guidance to remain steady and finish this season with faith and love.

Today's Devot is called Stay Steady. Hey there. We're the Alessi's, a ministry family working together in our church in Miami, Florida. And if you're like us, when days get busy and to do lists get longer, it can be hard to find devotional time. That's why we've partnered with our friend Allison to produce a five minute daily dose of heaven. This is the My Morning Devotional Podcast. Good morning everybody and happy Monday. My name is Rachelle Alessi and I get the privilege of being with you and I am so excited because let's take a moment to just think about this. It is the second week of December and the year is almost over. We've been doing 2025 together and I want to take a moment to really thank you guys for, for being with us, for listening this entire year. Thank you for any of you that might have found us in the last couple of months or if you found us this year. Welcome and thank you for being part of our My Morning Devotional family and community here. And it's been such a wonderful year together and God has been good and, and we've loved reading your messages and getting to even hear from you. Thank you for everybody who's bought us a coffee a latte and has supported this My Morning Devotional podcast. We truly cannot do it without you.

00:01:29.359 --> 00:02:02.340
And this week that I'm going to be with you, I really want to make it about winning our holiday season, because I know that the holiday season comes with full of cheer, it comes with responsibilities, comes with a lot of family. But it is a wonderful season and sometimes there are not so good moments or sad things we're going through. And so I want to make sure that we finish the year strong, that we are able to still stay steady and do the year right and finish it right.

00:02:03.060 --> 00:02:36.189
And today I wanted to read a verse, and it's Galatians 6, 9, and it says, let us not become weary in doing good for the proper time. We will reap a harvest if we do not give up. And what I loved about this verse is that we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. And I think a way that we can really finish strong this year is, you know, this is around the time that we start to reminisce all the goals or the things that we did.

00:02:36.990 --> 00:03:03.319
And we think maybe we need to start implementing new things for the new year. We need to start thinking how the new year is going to be. But maybe it's not the moment to start implementing you, but it's time to really just finish strong and continue to do good and not give up because there is going to be a harvest. And the truth is we see every single year as a new year to start sowing to start doing.

00:03:03.800 --> 00:03:18.050
But the way that we finish matters. The way that we finish this December, we only have about three and a half weeks left of this year. And so guys, I encourage you, do not grow weary in well doing.

00:03:18.689 --> 00:03:40.979
Continue to do good. Maybe it's not the time to start a new thing or create new habits, but it is the time to start closing up and just reminiscing and thinking and pondering and just really thinking, thanking God for the year we've had. And yeah, we can start definitely thinking about the new. But let's finish strong and let's do good things.

00:03:41.379 --> 00:03:48.340
So let's pray together. Father, I just want to thank you for this amazing year that we've had together as a family.

00:03:48.979 --> 00:03:56.099
And I pray that next year will be even better, that you will bring even more listeners to be part of this community.

00:03:56.659 --> 00:04:12.330
But in the meantime, Lord, I really pray that you will help us finish strong. Help us finish the right way, Father, because even though there's still a couple of weeks left to the year, there's still more that you want to do. And so help us Lord.

00:04:12.330 --> 00:04:16.050
And we thank you for the amazing year we've had. In Jesus name we pray.

00:04:16.209 --> 00:04:38.560
Amen. So there you have it. Your 5 minute daily dose of heaven. Thank you so much for tuning in today. We pray these devotionals empower you to take on your day.
