Living In Innocence

What does it mean to truly live in freedom and innocence? In today’s episode, host Lauren invites us to go beyond simply knowing we’ve been made innocent through Christ and to discover what it looks like to walk daily in that freedom. Jesus said in John 8:36, “So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” This powerful promise reminds us that the freedom we have in Him is not temporary or conditional—it is lasting, life-changing, and transforms the way we see ourselves and live each day.
Join us in prayer and devotion as we pursue lives marked by purity, freedom, and the deep peace that flows from walking closely with Jesus.

00:00:10.720 --> 00:00:52.469
We're the Alessi's a ministry family working together in our church in Miami, Florida. And if you're like us, when days get busy and to do lists get longer, it can be hard to find devotional time. That's why we've partnered with our friend Allison to produce a five minute daily dose of heaven. This is the My Morning Devotional podcast. Hello, everyone, My name is Lauren Alessi and I am your host for this week. Okay, so to be totally honest, I am recording this in advance, but I am aware of what day it is today, and that is October 3rd, morning time, which means that it is a special day for our family. And that means that Gabby Alessi will be coming.
00:00:52.469 --> 00:02:02.189
Ms. Gabrielle Kaladiyud. It is her wedding day, which means that right now we are getting ready for the wedding, we are getting prepped, and it's an exciting day for our family. So, Gabby, you have a whole audience of listeners. Let's just be prayed up for Gabby and Christian today as she gets out and gets married, but also sets out on an adventure of a lifetime as a wife. And let's just be praying for her and her future husband and all that God has in in store. And yeah, you've got this, Gabby. We love you and we're praying for you. Okay, so today's podcast episode is still on the topic of innocence. And today we're talking about not just being made innocent, but living in innocence. And I recognize that this is a very deep topic, maybe for some people, but again, it was inspired by a song. You can go listen to the worship song by Metro Life Worship Shameless Plug. Um, but it really just got me thinking about the idea of innocence and God making us totally innocent. Um, but today it's about not just being made innocent, but living in innocence. So the word says this in John
