Good morning, everybody. Happy Friday. My name is Rochelle Alesi, and I got to be your host this week. I'm going to miss you next week, but I know the next week is going to be amazing. So please stay listening to our uh our podcast every single day. And I'm going to mention this I mentioned earlier, but I want to mention it one more time. And let's get into today's stevil because I only have a couple minutes left with you, and I want to make sure we make them count. And I'm going to be reading from 2 Corinthians 1, 3 to 5. And it says, Praise be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves received from Him. For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ. Because it is so beautiful. Because God promises to comfort you. That through all your troubles, He will comfort you. And that even in Him as Him comforting you, you will abound in it so much that you'll be able to comfort others. And it's so beautiful because you see this working together. It's a give and then take. But the Lord is saying, I'm here to comfort you. And we this week we talk, we have been talking about how we experience hard things in life. And sometimes we have no explanation for them. But the Lord has given us verses and real promises that we get to hold on to that truly brings healing to our mind, our bodies, and our souls. But when we're going through something so hard and unexplainable, and we you really don't even have a why, and even finding a why seems impossible. The Lord promises to comfort you. And he had to give this comfort because there are moments, guys, are so unexplainable that all you need is comfort. And that comfort and compassion only comes from your father in heaven. And yes, he can use others to provide some of that comfort. But ultimately, what you're looking for deep down inside your heart, the the thing that still makes you unsatisfied, that it's that is conflicting even with within your faith, that's making you question the Lord, that is even making you question people in your life because of your pain and your suffering, all of that actually comes to an end. And it finds a way of resolve in the comfort of the Lord. And that can only be found in Him. So I encourage you today that if you've had a hole in your heart of confusion and hurt, and it is making you in some ways question the Lord and question others, because it's coming from a place maybe of deep pain. But what you need is the comfort of the Lord. You don't need to question him. Even though he's okay with you doing that, you don't need to question him. You don't need to even be distrusting the people in your life and trying to find people to blame, or even say, like, I I I don't know if I can trust these people anymore, or I thought these people were here for me. Sometimes in pain, we just try to find the explanation and something that will continue to further explain what we're feeling, but you won't find that. It would only make it more hurtful and more confusing. What can truly heal that in your life is the compassion and the comfort that the Lord promises to give you. The Lord is the one who will comfort us in all our troubles, so that we can also comfort others. You will be able to be a person one day to comfort others, but you won't be able to comfort others if you don't experience the comfort of God in your own life. So I encourage you today, let go and dive in fully into the Lord. Let Him comfort you, let Him heal you. The areas of pain that are unexplainable, that you cannot even understand, that there will be no clarity on. I promise you that you won't even have to understand why that happened. Because you will experience that comfort of the Lord so deep that that question will not even be a question in your mind anymore. Because you've experienced that comfort of the Lord so deep that he's healed so many parts of you that that question will not even be on the table. The things you've been thinking will not even be on the table. And I cannot explain how it happens. All I could say is because the Lord comes and he heals you and he truly comforts you. So let the comfort of the Lord be what heals you today, not anything else but him leaning to him because he wants to heal you. So let's pray. Dear Father God, we thank you today for your comfort. Thank you because everything we need is found in you. Thank you because you can heal us. Thank you because you can restore us physically, Father, and emotionally and even mentally, Lord. You are all and we find everything in you. These verses have shown us this week that you are the everlasting Father, the one who holds all power. You are sovereign, Lord, and we can trust you. Trusting you will never be a waste. And even in the moments that we do not understand, in the moments of pain, we know that our answer is to go deeper into searching for you, deeper into finding out more of who you are, not questioning you or questioning people, but leaning on you, that we will get to experience your comfort, Lord. You said it in the Sermon of the Mount. Blessed are those who are hurting because they will be comforted, Father. You promised us that. You even call them blessed. So if anybody is hurting today, I pray that they will find everything in you and that you will comfort them and that your comfort will be the healing that they need inside to be restored so that they're able to comfort others because they have experienced your comfort. We thank you, Lord, for the healing that you are doing in our hearts today as we experience your comfort. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.
