00:00:00.160 --> 00:00:03.919
You're listening to the My Morning Devotional podcast, episode 1314.

00:00:04.480 --> 00:00:06.879
Today's Devo is called God's Plan.

00:00:08.000 --> 00:00:49.179
Hey there. We're the Alessi's a ministry family working together in our church in Miami, Florida. And if you're like us, when days get busy and to do lists get longer, it can be hard to find devotional time. That's why we've partnered with our friend Allison to produce a five minute daily dose of heaven. This is the My Morning Devotional podcast. Well, good morning, good morning, good afternoon. If you're listening in the afternoon, I'm sorry, I'm very, very stuck on Good morning. This is Gabby, your host. It's been a great week and I hope you enjoyed yesterday's episode and the episode before that. And I hope it's challenged you and been something that you can hold on to, especially when you're making decisions.

00:00:49.179 --> 00:00:52.869
And just know if you're making a hard decision. I'm praying for you.

00:00:53.030 --> 00:01:03.829
We are here for you. God's got you in the palm of his hand and I'm believing that you're going to make the best decision that pleases the Lord. Today I want to talk about

00:01:03.829 --> 00:01:10.950
3. And it is a simple reminder for all of us. And this goes off of even our decisions.

00:01:10.950 --> 00:01:17.879
Conversation says this. Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.

00:01:18.439 --> 00:02:06.239
Commit to the Lord whatever it is, whatever you're working on, whatever you're looking at, whatever we're wanting and desiring, and he will establish your plans. You see, the word commit means to pledge or bind to a certain course or policy, basically meaning I am going to pledge or I'm going to tie myself to you. The, the word bind means to, to wrap up, essentially, right, I'm going to bind up what I have or myself to that thing that I'm desiring to, because I'm going to stick to it. A pledge means your word is your bond. A pledge is your yes is your yes, and your no is your no. A pledge means something. There's weight behind it, that that's what it means to commit to God.

00:02:07.359 --> 00:02:39.860
Committing our plans to the Lord is saying, God, I'm giving your you my. I'm binding you to my plans. I am shipping off my plans to you, Father, and I am trusting you with them. And what happens, it says he will establish your plans. Whatever it is we're working on, this is a great reminder that we have to commit it to God, whatever it is. If it's school, it's Kids, it's getting married, finding a home, it's finding a spouse, trying to get that dream job, trying to start up a new business.

00:02:40.919 --> 00:02:44.120
Man, I've seen so many people are, are trying to grow a TikTok.

00:02:45.319 --> 00:02:55.639
People are growing on TikTok. Like I, I just got a tick tock by the way, follow me on TikTok. But I see so many people that are like, I'm trying to grow my TikTok in five days to like a thousand followers.

00:02:55.879 --> 00:03:19.509
Or I'm trying to grow, I'm trying to get on like the TikTok content creator team, whatever it is, and they're, they're putting it out there to show you, like, hey, I'm trying to build a business. There are so many of us out here that are, every day we are grinding in and out, trying to start something, something, trying to get it to, to cause some, some, some traction and to get some money back and to build it to be amazing. I want to encourage you, commit that to God.

00:03:20.389 --> 00:03:45.620
If you're out there day in and day out and you're putting your blood, sweat and tears into this project and you haven't given it over to the Lord, then today's the day that you commit that to him. If you're out there trying to raise your kids and your kids are driving you nuts, and you know what? I can only speak from my, my aunt experience, but I've seen my sister have some crazy days. I've seen Rochelle have some crazy days with their kids. Commit them to the Lord.

00:03:46.419 --> 00:03:57.300
Commit the actions that you do as a mother and as a father to the Lord. If you're trying to find a spouse and you're praying that the Lord would bring them in, commit that to him.

00:03:58.419 --> 00:04:05.889
Give that over to him. Commit your single season to the Lord. Because what is it saying? He's going to establish our plans.

00:04:06.050 --> 00:04:12.930
And the truth is, the desires that we have for ourselves don't even compare to the desires that God has for us.

00:04:14.129 --> 00:04:42.730
So the plans that I have, the things that I'm doing, the things that I'm working on, I'm going to give them over to him. I'm going to do everything that I do with my hands, my, my words, everything I do with my actions, I'm going to commit them to him. I'm going to submit them under God because what he has for me is greater than what I have for myself. Whatever you're working on, commit those things to God and we can trust and know that he will establish our plans. Thank you, Lord.

00:04:43.209 --> 00:04:54.250
That you always establish our plans. Thank you that we can trust you Father that your ways are higher that your ways are greater that you want more for us than we can even imagine.

00:04:54.569 --> 00:05:38.769
And so take today right now we are committing our plans and our work, our jobs, our children, our schooling the future spouse the spouse that we have the house we commit it to you God we bind our plans, we bind the things that we do unto you and we're believing that you will establish our plans. We thank you for it. In Jesus name amen. So there you have it. Your 5 minute daily dose of heaven. Thank you so much for tuning in today. We pray these devotionals empower you to take on your day.
