And if you're like us, when days get busy and to do lists get longer, it can be hard to find devotional time. That's why we've partnered with our friend Allison to produce a five minute daily dose of heaven. This is the My Morning Devotional Podcast.

00:00:29.135 --> 00:00:36.207
Good morning and happy Tuesday, everyone. My name is Stephanie and I am so grateful that you have tuned in today.

00:00:36.264 --> 00:00:43.856
Today's gonna be a beautiful podcast. It's encouraging to you and I just pray that it blesses you today. So let's dive into it.

00:00:44.008 --> 00:02:00.103
12, and it says, for as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who who fear him, as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. Amen. So I'm sure you already know, but my little sister Gabby, she's getting married this season. She just got engaged about a month ago and she is in full wedding mode. Well, I've been married for four years this June, and it's really sweet to see her go through this because I remember this season. I remember getting engaged, I remember planning my wedding with my husband. I remember the first year of marriage. It was not too long ago, but it's still so fresh on my mind. All that took place during this season, and, you know, it's making me reflect a lot on the past, which is a little weird because, you know, maybe you feel this way, but there's times I miss those days. But then also there's a part of me that doesn't miss them at all because, you know, since then I've had two kids. I've been married for four years. I'm turning 29 this June.

00:02:00.272 --> 00:02:44.659
I've changed a lot. Kids have completely changed me. Marriage has completely changed me. And I've improved in a lot of ways, and I'm so grateful that I've improved. But also that means I've come from a past that I had to improve with, which means I have decisions in the past that I'm not entirely proud of. And I don't have a crazy past. But, you know, there were times that I was very selfish and I didn't realize it. You know, in my wedding season, I could have probably been a little kinder. I could have been a Little bit more flexible. And seeing my little sister go through this season has made me reflect on who I was in that season.

00:02:45.199 --> 00:02:48.539
And I'm just going to be very honest with you guys.

00:02:48.879 --> 00:03:22.110
I did have a few days where regret was like, sort of seeping into my daily thought life. And I wish there was a part of me that could go back and change some of the things that I did, you know, the ways I went about things, the way that friendships ended at that season. Season. I've definitely learned from my mistakes. But the truth is, you know, I have to move forward. I have to remember that those days are gone and I'm living out today.

00:03:22.810 --> 00:03:30.481
I can make better choices today that don't repeat the past. And I'm sure some of you guys feel the exact same way.

00:03:30.665 --> 00:03:52.538
You know, the truth is we have to live with the consequences of our choices. But we do not have to live in shame. We don't have to live in regret. We don't have to live in sadness. And it's because Jesus says that our transgressions have been removed from us. We have to live in the reality of our life.

00:03:52.593 --> 00:04:18.115
We made decisions and we got to live with it. But the freedom of Jesus, the promise of Jesus is that we get to live free of shame. He's forgiven us. He has given us a new heart. He's given us a new mind. Like I said yesterday, we are new creations. So we don't have to live in the shame of the past. We don't have to live in that regret. You don't have to live in that regret. You learned your lesson.

00:04:18.228 --> 00:04:25.555
You gained so much wisdom from it. You're a new person today. You're a new woman of God. You're a new man of God.

00:04:25.668 --> 00:04:51.283
You've become a mother, You've become a father. You've become a spouse. You've become a matured individual. So live that out. And not only are you just a mature individual, you're a mature individual with God in your heart and with wisdom in your mind. So walk that out boldly. You don't have to live in regret. You don't have to dwell on the past anymore because Jesus has removed your transgressions from you.

00:04:51.451 --> 00:05:16.509
As far as the heavens are above the earth are your transgressions from you. And as great as his love is for us, it's as great as the east is from the west. That's our promise in Christ Jesus today. So don't live in regret. Don't live in shame. Live in boldness that you are a new creation in Christ Jesus. Let's pray.

00:05:16.670 --> 00:05:41.944
God, we first just want to thank you for the life that you've given us. Even though we may have a past that we're not entirely proud of, you've saved us from that past and you've given us a plethora of wisdom to take with us. No, we can't change anything, but we do have control over this. Today we're walking in joy. Today we're walking in freedom.

00:05:42.072 --> 00:06:10.913
Today we're walking in the new life you have have promised us. Today we are living transgression free. We have wisdom because of Jesus. We have happiness because of Jesus. We have a freedom because of you. And we step into that boldly no matter what the past looks like. Because our future is ever brighter. With every good choice we make, our future just gets brighter and more promising.

00:06:11.072 --> 00:06:14.398
All thanks to you Jesus. And in Jesus name we pray.

00:06:14.494 --> 00:06:36.990
Amen and Amen. So there you have it. Your 5 minute daily dose of heaven. Thank you so much for tuning in Today we pray these devotionals empower you to take on your day.
