00:00:36.780 --> 00:01:21.109
This week. I'm excited to dive into this topic because I've been sitting on it for a little while and basically I want to go over the five things that we can typically forget as Christians. And it's nobody's fault, no one's in trouble, I'm not mad at anybody. And I even forget these things. So I've been writing them down, little bits of truth that even I forget about sometimes. And I listed them out in five things for us to talk about. And let me just give you the list really quickly. The first one is Fear of God. The second one is Holiness. The third is Keeping the Void. The fourth is Evil Will be Demolished. And then the fifth is we are Called to Serve.
00:01:21.430 --> 00:01:36.000
So these might be heavier topics, but my heart is to uplift you. I want you to know that God is loving, he is gracious, and the hard side to him, the part that we don't quite understand is what makes him so great.
00:01:36.640 --> 00:01:47.920
So again, heavy topics, but it's only to uplift you and to affirm you and to encourage you. So let's dive into it. I want to talk about the fear of God.
00:01:48.659 --> 00:02:03.379
And the reason why is because we have to know exactly who God is. Because if we know who God is, it'll help us realize how to approach him, how to pray to him, how to trust and live with Him.
00:02:03.939 --> 00:02:54.280
So this is the first thing I don't want us to forget. Fear the Lord. We live in beautiful Miami, Florida, with beaches and the ocean. So I'm very used to beaches and boats. And, you know, you find a beach person or a boat person when they have a healthy respect of the ocean. They know when it looks a little too dangerous to swim in. They know when you should wear a life jacket on the boat. They know which storms to run from or which storms you can just sit through. I have had many waves come and knock me over, and it's everybody has that story of randomly giving, getting pummeled by a wave, and it's embarrassing, and you can't breathe and you think you're gonna die, but then you drag yourself out of the ocean. And after that moment, you never forget the power of the ocean.
00:02:55.000 --> 00:03:13.129
And my husband, he loves to boat. And whenever he goes out on the boat, he is triple checking all of his safety nets. He's making sure that we have communication on our radios, that we can contact an emergency or anybody to come and help us if any emergency were to happen.
00:03:13.689 --> 00:03:32.250
Because he knows that the ocean is something you respect. And on those days when something bad does happen, that's when you develop a fear of the ocean, which in turn helps you develop a knowledge of the ocean. Proverbs
00:03:32.250 --> 00:03:50.979
00:03:51.300 --> 00:03:54.819
00:03:54.900 --> 00:04:20.779
00:04:21.579 --> 00:04:25.259
00:04:25.839 --> 00:04:47.519
00:04:48.319 --> 00:05:02.470
00:05:02.949 --> 00:05:26.100
00:05:26.259 --> 00:05:33.060
00:05:33.538 --> 00:06:25.410
00:06:25.810 --> 00:07:45.730
