Cheerful Givers

Join me, Alison Elizabeth as we continue our Advent 2020 prayers. Today we are reading out of 2 Corinthians 9:7 which says "Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."

"The take away here is very simple, our giving and our gifts should be given freely. If you feel that you have to do anything, it’s not coming from the heart. I pray that we reach to change a persons life with our love. Remember that some of us love differently. But they can all be incorporated in this season. If you know your mom values quality time, spend the day with her cooking a nice meal. If your sister likes acts or service, offer to help her put together the bike she just got for Christmas.

There are so many ways we can love the people around us, as Jesus loves us everyday. Ultimately when we do that, we end up serving others, and when we server others, we serve Him."
