00:00:00.440 --> 00:00:21.301
You're listening to the my morning Devotional podcast, episode 992. Today's Devo is called Terrific Tuesday. Hey there. We're the Alessis, a ministry family working together in our church in Miami, Florida. And if you're like us, when days get busy and to do lists get longer, it can be hard to find devotional time.

00:00:21.437 --> 00:00:32.359
That's why we've partnered with our friend Allison to produce a five minute daily dose of heaven. This is the my morning Devotional podcast. Happy Tuesday, everybody.

00:00:32.472 --> 00:00:55.231
Before we even get this thing started, we have to really hash out how we envision this title to be said. Yes. And if anybody knows target Tammy from Saturday Night Live, played by Kristen Wiig. Yes. Then you would hear this title being said like, terrific Tuesday. I think that's how you do it. Terrific Tuesday. Welcome to Target. That is perfect.

00:00:55.328 --> 00:01:09.695
So, yes, episode 992, terrific Tuesday, led. By, by our lovely Rochelle. I can't wait to hear what you have to tell us. Before you get into it, we have to again remind everybody that we are seven episodes away from our 1000th episode.

00:01:09.799 --> 00:01:27.459
It is going to be so exciting what we'll do for that episode. Please get excited. We are planning, thinking of what we could do, but we're going to really celebrate that, right? Yes. Are you ready to go, Rochelle? I'm ready. Take it. All right. First of all, thank you, Stephanie, for bringing my vision to life with that title.

00:01:27.652 --> 00:01:30.700
Because it was all in my head and I just said it and you just.

00:01:30.811 --> 00:02:39.539
You knew. You immediately knew. So thank you. But today's verse is psalm 100 1824. And it says, this is the day that the Lord has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it. I love this verse because I feel like I just hear all the different versions of songs that we've sang throughout the years because that's how powerful this verse is, that you can just take it, put into melody, sing it all the time. And the minute you start to sing this song or read this verse, something in you just gets excited and happy and it completely changes your day. And is also one of my favorites. And I just wanted to bring it to the podcast today because Tuesdays could be a weird dating of the week because Monday you're kind of, like going and you're set, and then Wednesdays is kind of like that middle week and still good. But Tuesdays and Thursdays are kind of a weird day, right? So I wanted us to have a terrific Tuesday today with this verse, just to remind ourselves that this is the day that the Lord has made and that there is things that we could be looking forward to, things that we can get excited about, to have just a great attitude.

00:02:39.572 --> 00:03:09.391
Because the Lord made this day. And if he made it, it's because there's life, there's excitement, there's purpose, there's still something to be done. Whether I'm happy or sad, it doesn't matter how I feel is the day that the Lord has made. Amen. And because he made it, I have to be a great steward of it. And so I want to ask all of our listeners this. What is one thing that you can get excited about today? And when you answer that question, just remember this verse, that this is the day that the Lord has made.

00:03:09.527 --> 00:03:20.443
I will rejoice and be glad in it. No matter what you're going through, there's some. Something that you can look forward to, something that you can get excited about that can give you vision for the rest of your week.

00:03:20.563 --> 00:03:56.633
That's really good. Rochelle, can you pray over us? Yes. Let's do it. Father God, thank you for another day that you have made for us. Thank you for giving us another day of life. The fact that we can get up and listen to this podcast today, it's a sign of your grace and your faithfulness towards us. So I just pray that today just give you some new joy and excitement over something. And if somebody is listening and they say, I don't know what I could be excited about, I don't know what I can look forward to, I pray that you show them that, that in their own time, you show them the things that you have for them and how they can be excited about their life. In Jesus name we pray. Amen. Amen.

00:03:57.133 --> 00:04:00.598
So there you have it. Your five minute daily dose of heaven.

00:04:00.725 --> 00:04:17.973
